Has anyone been? Thinking of booking it and going to Legoland one day and Chessington the next. Was wondering whether there were places to eat nearby. I've never been to either theme park but we now have Merlin passes so I'm determined to make use of them.;)

OK, I've just looked at the reviews for Travelodge and it seems awful - has anyone stayed at the Premier Inn? It has better reviews!

I've stayed at the Premier Inn, Chessington loads of times (on business) and there is a nice family Beefeater pub attached (Monkey Puzzle?).

There are also a few pubs on the same road that do meals, although I've never been to them. Leatherhead is just down the road where there is a McDs and various Chinese and Indians :)

Premier Inn is your standard no-thrills hotel, clean and simple :)

Thanks - might go ahead and book it then as it's only £58 for two rooms for our dates.

Chessington has its own affilate safari style hotel now, and merlin passholders get very good rates, we paid only 90for 2rooms last year, you have to ring for prices.
