Travelodge maingate east????

Hi everyone
I haven't been on the boards for quite a while but i have been lurking....honest!
Wondered if anyone had any good/bad info on the travelodge maingate east?
I've just been quoted £2458 for 2 adults 2 teenagers and1 child staying for 2 weeks commencing 24 aug 2003 including fully inclusive car hire/insurance.
This seems like a really good deal to me, so please tell me if you think otherwise or if its a really naff place to stay

Iforgot to add this is with travel city direct flying on their jumbo???

We stayed at this hotel last year, and I did not like it at all. The rooms had a cooker & a fridge that we found useful but we did not use the cooker. I found this hotel dirty the carpet in the room was stained & I think they only came to change the towels. The hotel is oppersite Old Town & there are plenty of shops & resturants by the hotel but the hotel itself & the pool seemed really unclean. The News of the World are advertising a trip at this hotel & say it is 3*.

Sorry I can't help with your question, but you could check the USA travelodge website for some information. £2458 seems extremely expensive....

do you really think £2458 is expensive?
Basically its 4 adults and 1 child, ive been trying to get flights for this time of year and i'm coming up with a similar figure, but this is for flights,hotel(albeit a dirty one),'free' car and 2 weeks fully inclusive car insurance...i thought it wasn't too bad. What kind of price do you think i should be paying??This was probably only so cheap because of the naff hotel.
