Hi guys,
I have a cracking price for a one night stay at the travelodge Gatwick, we Fly to Orlando next Thursday, :cool1:
I told the better half how much it was costing, (£26) for the 3 of us, so she now thinks we are going to be staying in somebodys shed, with an outside toilet for that price, it is remarkably cheap for an airport hotel!
Have any of you guys stayed there before? is it ok? were not expecting the ritz, just a clean room to have a nights kip before we go walking round the word!
reassurances please!

Not stayed at the Gatwick Travelodge but stayed at the one at Manchester for either £26 or £10 :thumbsup2
Can't quite recall which promotional rate we were lucky enough to get :sunny:

Only other thing we had to pay was one nights parking until we went over to the airport parking the next morning (£5?).

Anyway, family room, very clean and comfortable at a bargain price :goodvibes

I've stayed there and it's fine - OK it's just a basic room but it's clean and has beds and a bathroom - what more do you need ;) There's a restaurant and bar downstairs if you want something to eat or drink and they run regular shuttles to the airport.

We have stayed there about 4 or 5 times it's quite good would give it the :thumbsup2

thanks guys, i reckoned it was pretty safe to book a travelodge, they're all much of a likeness arent they! the other half couldnt get her head round the low price, thinking there must be some sort of catch!
I dont even have to worry about car parking, were flying down from Aberdeen on the wednesday evening, taxi to the hotel, and if theres a shuttle bus, we'll get that back the following morning!
its all good,
and thanks for the input! :goodvibes

We stayed there when we got back to have a kip before driving home. Good rate but had to make special arrangements to check in late/early. It's only a few minutes from the airport an they have some of the most comfy hotel beds to sleep in anywhere - I am amazed at how good travelodge is.

We are staying at the Travelodge in November for the rate of £26.
We booked this back in February so i hope there is no problem when checking in.

we wont be at the travelodge til about 8pm! would that be classed as a late check in? should i call to make them aware we wont be there til that time? or isnt 8pm classed as late! :rolleyes1
