Travelodge Anaheim at the Park???

Has anyone ever stayed here when visiting DL? I tried looking for reviews on Trip Advisor, but I haven't found anything. Any thoughts/experiences would be much appreciated!!

Shamelessly bumping in the hopes that somene can give me advice

I stayed here somewhere around 1999 or so. It is a small older motel that was pretty dated architechually though they did spruce up the front to be looking more modern. It was decently kept up and the room was clean and comfortable though bland. There was a tiny little playground and pool. The location was okay. It was about a 15 minute walk to the parks.
In this photo locate the words Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel. About and inch to the left of the words "Pier Hotel" (across the street) is the Travelodge at the park. http://www.beachcalifornia.com/dlmp.html I do not know if they have remodeled since I was there. I would not stay there again as I have found places I like better.

Thanks for the reply! Per the hotel's website, it looks like they remodeled in 2000 or 2001. What hotels have you found that you like better? I am always looking for good recommendations.

Generally the places I stay at are more expensive. By $20 - $50 per night.
My favorites are...
Howard Johnson
Candy Cane Inn
Best Western Park Place Inn
Anabella Hotel
Tropicana

I have stayed at many Super 8 motels and always found them to be fine. I have not stayed at the two next to Disneyland but have heard they are decent. Nothing fancy what so ever but are fine for the price. The one on Katella would be a bit of an easier walk
