Does anyone know if when booking a package deal through Travelocity can you either book the hotel for less nights than your flights will be or can you apply a free hotel night that you have earned through rewards.

I am thinking the answer is no but I couldn't find anything on their website (but I may have missed it) and I tried calling Travelocity and it is a 20 min hold time and I dont' feel like holding, so I though I would ask here.

I think there is a box to check saying you don't need the hotel for the entire trip, but I don't know if I am confusing that with another site. I have never seen where you can add free nights through a reward program. Quite frankly, I often find that booking your flight/hotel separately (through the hotel website) is often less expensive then booking a "package" through Travelocity.

That is what I usually find too, but I was actually able to find one that was cheaper booking as a package, although I'm sure I will go back and look at it today and it will be more expensive.

I have two friends who booked separate vacations through Travelocity and they both had a problem with their return flights being changed or cancelled with no notifications. I think that's the only problem they had, though.
