Travelocity SPECIAL for Nickelodeon Suites

FYI... I read on this site yesterday that Travelocity was having a limited time special on Suites at Nickelodeon Resort. WOW, I got a 2 bedroom for $146 per night! When I had called the resort 2 hours earlier, I was quoted $356 per night.

We needed a place to stay on April 9th and 10th, before we check in to our Villas at Wilderness Lodge Resort Needless to say, we booked the deal thru Travelocity.

You will have a blast! Have you been? We just got home Monday from a week there and it was our third time there.
That is good rate for that time of year!!! We paid about that and got the 50 food credit each day. But we were looking for your week way back when we were booking and it was so expensive!

We are Disney-a-holics, but are very excited to spend a few days at the Resort. I booked a character breakfast already. Do you need reservations for the buffet or any other restaurant in the "Mall" area???

No they places in the mall are all just walk up and they have tons of seating in the middle to use. They have a regular breakfast buffet too and dinner that you can also just go up for.
The first time we went to Nick Hotel we were at MK and the kids asked to go back to the hotel!

I was checking this out on Travelocity and couldn't tell if the total included the resort fee?

no. resort fee is additional. still for what the resort offers, it was well worth it.

I think the final price includes the resort fee. The way it reads, you would think that the resort fee is not included but once you check-out, if you click on the "taxes and fees" it says that the resort fee is included. $40/night is a lot to pay in taxes for a one night stay.

Here's what is listed on my confirmation from Travelocity...

Please note that there is a resort fee in the amount of $28.13 with tax per room per night upon booking. This fee allows guest scheduled resort transportation to the four (4) Disney theme parks, Sea World, Wet N Wild, Universal Studios, and Islands of Adventure. It also includes unlimited local phone calls, use of the resort's water park features and the pool-side entertainment.

We just booked one night with the resort for 114.00 for a 2 bdrm suite for May. DH called and was originally given a qoute of 160.00 but DH asked to speak with a supv....she came on the line and immediately gave him the Travelocity rate.

I had called earlier this month and reserved at a rate of 160.00.....but now I will be cancelling that ressie.

Did you have the $50 food credit w/ the 160.00 per night? I'm just debating because we have $159/night for 4 nights w/ the $50/day food credit. Not sure what's a better deal since we will be at the parks part of the time.

No...no food credit....DH even asked about it when offered the 160.00 rate and was told that the food credit wasn't an option.

i booked for the end of August and was given a price of $119 plus resort fee $160 total for 2 bedroom which i though was great. I booked with Nick directly.
I was first given a rate of $210 ($250 with tax & fee). Asked if she had a better rate, went down to $160 ($200 with tax & fee). I asked one final time if that was the absolute best rate she could given me, then she final gave me a rate of $119. Try to bargain with the reservationist, it doesnt hurt to ask.

Thank you for posting. As soon as I saw your post, I went to Travelocity. We are checking into WDW on May 26, but thought we would spend a couple of days at Nick if prices ever looked right. I booked three nights. First night at $126.83 and the other two nights at $79 a night. We called the Nick hotel but they couldn't beat the price.

Thank you...thank you...thank you for posting this! I promised my 8 year old a trip to Nick Hotel if she would stop sucking her thumb. I figured it would be cheaper than braces. Best rate I could find for June was 203 + tax and resort fee. Travelocity had it for $98 + fees...altogether about 140 for a couple of nights in June. I figure I can handle it for two nights and then we will got to a Disney hotel for the remainder.

Thanks!! Just booked for friend for $79 2 bed suite!! Only staying 1 night for the kids. Resort fee is included. Our rate came to $119.58 that is tax and $28.13 resort fee.

I just called and asked them to match the 114/night. They said "no, book it thru Travelocity" (We have 159/night w/ 50/day food credit for 4 nights right now). I didn't have the guts to ask for a supervisor... Maybe I'll call later and ask for one.

I just don't know if we'll use the food credits as much, but I don't really want to pay up front either.

I just booked this special for two nights after our Disney trip. I won a US ticket so I will stay an extra couple of days with the two oldest boys to visit the parks and my DH and baby boy will fly home. I am not telling the boys-they have been dying to stay there for years. I cannot wait to see the look on their faces when we drive in.

We went with our LO he was 17 months the first trip and had a blast in the pools. This year we just went 2 weeks ago and he was 28 months. He loved playing in the pool that has the zero entry and the small child play areas. They have small water slides there,. spray things to run under, fountains and things that pop up. He loved seeing the characters, even going in with the other kids into the arcade.
