Travelocity-great rates!!

Travelocity has some great rates for dates in April, May for WDW hotels. i.e., Wilderness Lodge 4.15-4.19 175 a night plus tax. Other hotels, rates available.

In August it looks good at first glance, I then added in the cost of tickets (they don't offer the length that I need by the way, we need 10 days), air fare (they are expensive compared to through Disney for similar flight times at least, which I find really odd.)

Then I factored in a cost of $35 per day per person for food (comparing to a plan through Disney with the DDP on it).

Then add on tax, because the package I have through Disney includes all of the tax in the package price, I come out at about $100 more expensive than through Disney directly.

Just a word to wise, by the way I think the reason for the difference in price is the Airfare is cheaper through Disney by about $100 per person in our case, so truly this may not be the case for everyone.

I hadn't looked that far ahead. I just got excited because the rate at WL the week after Easter was sweet for me.
Only the next 90 days or so. And only checked room rates, so it may not be beneficial for some folks. Just wanted to put it out there in case anyone needed a break for a trip coming up right away and missed out on codes

Travelocity and Orbitz rates reflect the codes that disney released 2 weeks ago for 35% of deluxes. There is more room availabilty on travelocity than through disney. A few people have mentioned switching their reservations over to travelocity in the past 2 weeks. Too bad you can't do a package through them to include dining.

If you use a Disney TA, is it possible that they would be able to get better rates than the BUC code discount?
