Travelling back to the Buena Vista from Downtown Disney

What time do the last buses go back to the hotels?

Or, Would we have to cab it?. If so, how easy is it to get one?

Good question because that can have a dramatic effect on the answer as the Downtown Hotels are very close but others such as the Comfort Inn and Sheraton Safari are not and do not share the same buses.

LOL Claire. I typed out a long answer on the assumption that it was one of the Hotel Plaza Blvd hotels and then it occurred to me it could be much further afield

Are you asking about the Buena Vista Palace hotel on Hotel Plaza Blvd.?
Most of the busses leaving the parks and bound for the hotels will run for one hour after park closing time, not sure about the busses from DTD.
If you choose to take a cab, they are easily available.
You are actually close enough to walk from Downtown Disney, but you'll have to cross a very busy street. Cab is probably a better idea.

We're staying at the Sheraton Safari.

I'm sure the Sheraton will have buses to the parks as for the last bus,the only people who will know will be the hotel.Depends on what time the park closes,I'm sure most hotels will run there buses right up until park closing (especially as Disney own the land at LBV!!!) Taxi wise I haven't got a clue as we always hire a car,I'm fairly certain that you could jump on one of the buses to Disney marketplace (there may be a charge?) & then you are only a short 15-20 min walk or 5 mins in a taxi from there. We like LBV & have always gone back there ,tho' to different hotels
