Traveller's Cheques

Ok....we are leaving on Friday! For the first time in 20+ yrs. I have decided to use traveler's cheques....went to AMA last night to buy them (Alberta's equivelant to AAA). Will I have any problems cashing and using them at Universal/IOA? I am staying onsite at HRH Club Level, in case concierge can handle that too???

I was too worried to carry that large hunk of cash on a trip where my hubby isn't coming along to remind me to "Don't forget your purse, etc..."

I don't know FOR SURE but I know the front desk can cash travelers checks...at the hotel I used to work at with Disney, we could only cash $200.00 a day per room in travelers checks but the Universal properties may be different.
