As title says........do you take them in your carry on or checked luggage?

I take them in my carry on. They are too valuable to lose. Remember the TSA has the right to unlock your luggage and if you don't have a TSA approved lock, they will break it.

Carry on... And add time at the check in if you are going out of anyplace but orlando. The TSA checks my bag from front page to the back. Always takes time.

DD has one up here check hers page by page and come to fnd out they were a collector and just wanted to see what ones she had.I told her they were all traders if she had any and had a break anytime soon and she just started laughing.

But yes always carry-on.

Ditto carry on. There's nothing I hate more than arriving at my resort and finding all my carefully packed clothing messily repacked in my luggage with a note saying "inspected by the TSA" on it. This is virtually guaranteed to happen if you put your pins in your checked luggage.

I agree with you all you pins should be in your carry-on.

I work for TSA and keeping your most valued items with you has always been the rule I have used, even before I started with TSA

NHMickey there are even pintraders in TSA. There also a fair number of Disney fans (although some won't admit it at work:))
