Ya my kid is sick and we leave sat. Not real bad just a sinkage ear infection but they want him on his neb. Never traveled with it. I know the med we will carry but the unit should I pack it or carry it on? Will TSS stop me from taking it as a carry on?

Thanks!

I would hope they wouldn't but the TSA seem to be a law unto themselves nowadays :sad1:

You can carry it on and it doesn't count against your limits. You will have to remove it from the case for security. I generally recommend patients move to inhalers (with a spacer and mask) over nebulizers once they are between 1-2 y/o partly for more and better options and partly for portability and for those that won't for some reason, consider getting a battery operated one for travel (battery pack not covered by insurance normally but the rest of the unit may be in some cases). These will work with the car and battery in most cases.

Thanks alot dean. Ya kason is 11 months so we r still on the larger one for now. We wouldn't have to take it but they don't want him to get worse while down there. I figured I would be good but u never know.

This trip in general has me freaked out cause Kate was over year old when she first went but this month was the best time for a summer trip so we r off with formula and food in hand along with our neb in tow also. Lol

Thanks!

I'm sure it'll work fine. There are a number of CVS and Walgreen's options. WG tends to be one of the best traveling because they can do so much online. For example, your physician could send in a script to a WG you normally might use and the pharmacy in Orlando could transfer it electronically and fill it. It's also possible for many to send it in directly even with the electronic scripts but it's best to give them the store number, address and phone if you're coordinating with your physician. Just make sure you take anything else you might need like pulmicort or oral steroids if you have any just in case.
