Traveling from Indian Creek to the Parks

I have been to Disney several times, but always used Disney Transportation on our visits. We will be going to the parks every morning. My question is, do you go to the same park everyday and hop around on the bus/monorail system to different parks and return to where your car is parked at the end of the day? We will be there for 10 days and I have a good idea what I want to do, but I was curious if you guys knew some tricks and ideas that could make this trip more fun for my entire family. Also, what is the closest Super Market to that area?

The closest Supermarket from there is right down the road. Come to the end of the road where the Hess is on the corner (you'll know when you see it) and take a right, it's about 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile up in a plaza.
