I realize it's over a year away but I'm already planning meals, etc for our rip next Dec. I was wondering how hard it is to travel from a value resort to say the Grand Floridian or Contemporary resort for meals at Narcoossee's or Chef Mickeys?

I'm trying to pick a few character meals that won't make my preteens totally roll their eyes, any suggestions?

If you are using Disney Transportation, your best bet is to take the bus from your resort to the Magic Kingdom. From there you can take the resort monorail to the Grand Floridian, Polynesian and Contemporary. The Contemporary is also about a 10 - 15 minute walk from where the bus drops you off.

I would suggest getting into one of those yellow cabs. Its 10-15 bucks and way less headache and time!

Its easy to drive to any of the other resorts for dining.

If you need to use the bus, you'll have to go to a park first (pick one near your destination) and then get a bus to the resort you are dining at. Reverse the process for the return trip.
