Pardon my ignorance, but are traveler's checks accepted in all the parks? They are same as cash, right? This is my first trip traveling without my family and I feel like I don't know how to vacation!

I used them when we went last time, At check in I opened a charge account on my room key. That way we only had to bring a little bit of cash.
