anyone know where I can cash one, we are staying at GCH, can we do it there or is there a place in the parks? THanks!

You should have no problem cashing them at your resort

They will take them at just about any shops or resort hotel. We do not use them anymore but they are still good as gold.

Does anyone know of places in and around Disneyland that aren't taking travelers checks anymore? When I was at the bank changing my money to American currency I asked about them and the bank teller told me NOT to get them. She said that a lot of places are no longer accepting them as they are too easy to counterfit. They have had so many people coming back saying they weren't able to use them that they have stopped recommending them period.

I was disappointed to hear this because Im not too keen on having to take that much cash when we go =/

We found the best bet is a debit card. If we need cash we just withdraw it.
