'Travel with ' question

I am hoping someone here will know the answer, can you put a 'travel with' notation on your stay if the dates don't match exactly?

We're going to be at Aulani for 10 nights in a 1br and our friends will be there for 5 of the nights in a studio. We know the chances of them putting us to close to make a 2br are slim to none but we'd like our villas to be close to each other if possible as we're both in Pool/Garden view category.

Anybody know??

I would book a 2 BR lock off for the 5 common nights, and a 1 BR for the other nights. That is if you really want to be connected.

Oh we don't necessarily want a 2BR, what I am saying we know not to hope for that. What we're wondering is will they even notate a travel with if your length of stay/exact dates don't match?

They should allow that. If you can grab a 2BR lock off, you could upgrade to an OV for about the same points, or just save some with a Pool view. The CM in Hawaii try harder to get you what you want. Not so much so at WDW.

It was no problem adding the travel with
