Travel with an infant

You would challenge me with that one--never thought about the movement...

I just know that my DD3 used to get terrible terrible reactions to mosquito bites--one bit her on the forehead and swelled up so bad. It looked like someone clubbed her. Another time, she was bitten near, but not on, her eye--it swelled and she looked like Rocky Balboa at the end of a boxing match--these 2 incidents were prior to 18 months of age.

After we got the ladybug--it didn't happen again. Now that she is almost four--and has pretty much beaten it up--we don't use it anymore.

The Burt's Bees stuff--we were told it was great--but I guess you have to constantly reapply it. It is supposed to be safe for infants. But if you do not like the smell of citronella--it will "bug" you :hyper:

What resort are you staying at--Mosquitos in the parks is a non-issue until nighttime. Daytime is too hot for them to be much of a bother unless you are someplace like Fort Wilderness. We only found the bugs to be a nuisance at night--primarily in Frontierland...and at the resorts when walking back to the room at night (like at CSR and POR--All Stars wasn't too bad).

Just DO NOT BE AFRAID to take baby on the rides...she'll be doing more at that point and actually enjoy some of it.

And you are not a bother...took my 4 month old once--stood pacing at the Ferry dock giving a CM the 4th degree on whether or not we made the right decision to bring her--we had a GREAT time--and have a lovely picture of her with Piglet at Crystal Palace.
