Travel time to other amusement parks...

If staying near Disneyland, how long would it take to get to:

1. Legoland
2. Universal Studios
3. SeaWorld
4. San Diego Zoo

We're thinking of doing a 7 night stay, but would like to do more than just Disneyland.

We have done the Anaheim to San Diego trip a few times so I could give you a ballpark idea (90 minutes - 2 hours), but you should be able to map it on mapquest (you can just type in the name of the amusement park and it will locate it for you) - that way you will get a much better idea!

Barring traffic, shouldn't take more than 1 hr.

Hmmm, this may change our mind about visiting DL for a week then. Perhaps if budget permits, we'll do a WDW trip (that will include Universal, SeaWorld, etc.) and then a side trip to DL for perhaps 4-5 days if we can find a good deal.

The one thing we love about WDW is the close proximity of other amusement parks and "side" trips. But I had my heart set on DL, so we'll see

Legoland - 1.5 hours
Universal Studios - 1-1.5 hours (depending upon traffic)
SeaWorld - 2 hours
San Diego Zoo - 2 hours

SeaWorld and San Diego Zoo are near each others. LegoLand is about 40 minutes from San Diego.

North to South you are looking at it like this:
Universal Studios
Disneyland
LegoLand
San Diego Zoo
Sea World

Universal could be a day trip from Disneyland.

If you want to do LegoLand, that could be a day trip, but might be a lot of driving for one day depending upon your group.

You could change locations for a few days and do LegoLand, San Diego Zoo, and Sea World from a San Diego base if you wanted.
