Travel time question

In late May, we will be going to Disney. On the Monday of our trip, we are doing AK, and have dinner at 1900 Park Fare at the GF. The dinner is at 7:15. What time should we leave AK to get to GF in time (hopefully show up 7'ish to be a bit early). And from AK, how do you get to GF? I would assume we need to take the monorail, so what bus do we take to get to a monorail stop?

1- 5:45-6:00PM-ish.
2- There is a bus from DAK to the Grand Floridian.
3- Nope.

You can take a bus directly from AK to GF. To be safe, I would be at the AK/GF bus stop no later than 5:45 pm. I've waited upwards of 30 minutes to catch buses on WDW property. Once you are on the bus, it will take about 20-25 minutes to get to GF. You may end up there early, but there are shops to poke around in, etc.

If you would like to have a little more flexibility, you can also take a cab from AK to GF. If you take a cab, try to get one around 6:15/6:30 pm to get to GF by 7 pm. The cab would cost about $20.
