We have a 1:30 lunch reservation for Emeril's and I was wondering how long it might take to drive to and park for the City Walk at Universal from Pop.

Its about 13 miles, and I wonder if 45 minutes is enough time to give(want to spend as much time at the pool that morning as I can. :)

Also besides Emeril's we are thinking of eating dinner @ Pat Obrien's, or Bob Marleys, any insight into these two places?

Thanks for any advise

thanks for the help, ;) :)

I guess Ill wing it, and head out of Pop about 45 minutes before our reservation, and just play it by ear for dinner over at City Walk.

It took us about 20-25 mins to drive from Coronado Springs to the parking garage. This was in the evening on a Friday and we took 4E to get there. Takes a bit more time to park and figure out where you are going. 45min should be good but a little more wouldn't hurt.

thanks for the help. It will be a Wednesday around 12:30 so I am hoping traffic isnt bad. I just dont want to be late for our reservation.

thanks again.

Hi, I have not tried either of your dinner choices but you could walk over to one of the hotels for dinner?? We have been to The Kitchen(very good) at the HRH and Mamma Della's at PBH also very good. Joan

thanks, I wasnt sure if access to the hotels was ok.

Mamma Della's is Italian correct? Ill check out their menu, even though we have good Italian in CHicago, my daughter loves pasta, and that might be an option after a lunch she may not like as much as me.

changed up the eating schedule,

going a little later, and are just going to hit the food court @ City Walk for lunch(cancelled the Eemeril's reservation). Decided to make a reservation @ The Palm @ the Hard Rock for dinner - cant eat too much lobster, and prime beef imho.

pat o'briens is not my favorite place at all.

latin quarters is pretty good.

check out the menus at citywalk.com.

i see you cancelled your original dining ressie.

palm is good, very good.

they have them in select cities.
you can check out their website and see what they have to offer.

i'm sure you'll like it there.

anyone can dine at the restaurants at the hotels.
they are open to the general public.

thanks for the input on O'Briens

there is a Palm in CHicago that I have not been to yet, and their menu looked good, prime beef, and seafood. Probably our most expensive dinner out around $150 I am guessing for my wife, and our 2.5 y.o.(who will just share the appetizer, salad, and mains).

They are also running a 4# lobster special that looks interesting, but I gotta get a steak.

i think the palm in chicago is better than smith & wollensky in chicago.

Bubba Gump at navy pier is just like the one in city walk.

since you plan to dine at the palm at hrh, you can join the membership.
you pay $25 for the card and each time you eat at a palm restuarant, you are mailed a $25 gc for the next dining pleasure at one of their places.
