Not sure which resort yet as we have not booked yet. Just trying to way in more factors. I think with the girls we wil be spending most of our time at MK.
CSR was 10-15 minutes from any park, and slightly longer to DTD. It does not share a bus with any other resort, so less crowded than some resort buses. Bus stops are very convenient around the resort.
Good info on actual transit times. Be sure to add another 20 minutes or so to wait for the bus to actually come and the people to get on board. Sometimes you'll get lucky and the bus will come as soon as you get to the bus stop, but I never have that kind of luck.

The above times have some time added based on averages it appears. It is not 25 mins from CBR to DTD for example, nor is it 12 minutes to epcot, both are much quicker.
The reality is the transit times are all so close its not going to matter. Time spent waiting, or not, for the bus offsets the differences. CSR and CBR are both large resorts size wise and have bust stops throughout. PoFQ has one, but the bus then drives around the loop at PoR, much like the other two mods. I've heard people profess one to be better than the other, but its pretty much the same at all 3, so I never understand that.
There is the boat to DTD at PoR/PoFQ, boats are fun. Other than that, I wouldn't factor in travel as a factor in selecting a moderate. They're all too similar. Any complaint about bus service is applicable to all as it's run centrally, not at the resort.
I think the main complaint about buses to the POFQ and POR resorts is that they share buses, making them more crowded. They have 3048 rooms, while CSR has 1967 and CBR has 2112. Also, my personal opinion, because CSR has convention meetings held in the AM, buses are rarely crowded until mid-afternoon.
I completely agree that the travel times listed seem overly long, but since they are all similar... its really a moot point.
Here's a cool WDW transportation calculator that shows you how to get from point A to point B within the World as well as estimated commute times. As previously stated, ensure you are adding more time for the bus stop wait.

I still disagree with that calculator, its almost identical to the posted times. Its not 12 minutes drive time between CBR and epcot or DS. Whoever compiled them is adding in time somewhere. 12 minutes of driving gets you a fair distance and Disney isn't that big.

...and I agree with you! I truly believe the author of that considered peak season and slow loading at each bus stop they could potentially stop at within the resort. This is certainly not scientific. However, it is very reliable in terms of know what all your options are to get to a destination in terms of using boats, monorail, and buses.
