Travel time from POP??

Can anyone tell me about how long it would take to get from Pop Century to Chef Mickeys? Would it be better to travel by bus or by car??

I would take the bus and allow at least one hour to get to the Contemporary.

I'm going to move this to our transportation board for you, I'm sure the experts there can answer your question better than I.

We did this just last week and decided to take the car. It was a 15 minute car drive, just remember when going through the MK toll plaza stay in the far right as the road to the resorts is immediately after the parking kiosks.

Other option would be bus to MK, which took about 15-20 mins then monorail over to CR or you could walk. As said I would give it an hour if using bus.

If you drive yourself, it will take about 15 minutes if you park at the Contemporary parking lot. You will be given a 3 hour parking permit. After your breakfast, you WILL need to move your car. If you are planning to visit the Magic Kingdom that day, I might recommend one of the following options:

Another alternative is to drive to the Magic Kingdom parking lot, and then take the monorail.

The third alternative is to take the bus directly from Pop Century. Make sure to let the driver know you're going to Chef Mickeys. If they are able, they sometimes can drop you off directly. Otherwise, you can either walk or take the Monorail over.

When using Disney Transportation, always allow 45 minutes for transportation time. It might not take this length of time, but it's best to plan ahead. I also recommend the same time frame for the car -- You never know if you might make a wrong turn, get stuck in traffic at the toll plaza or security gate, or how long it will take to find a space in the overcrowded Contemporary parking lot.
