travel time from MCO to Port Canaveral

For those of you who have made the trip, how long does it take to drive from MCO to Port Canaveral? We are coming down in July for cruise, and are trying to determine travel time from the airport so we can choose the best flight. Thanks for your help!

its about a 1 hour drive. so give your self 1 1/2 hrs travel time to be safe.

45 minutes from the Airport Hyatt to the Port... just enough time to watch the 42 minute video on the bus!! YEA!!

45 mins. here, too, but that's because we've never run into any traffic. If you did, it might be more like an hour, but in the morning it's usually smooth sailing. We use Happy Limo from an airport hotel and jump right on the Bee Line.

I think it took us just over half an hour. I remember thinking that it was really about half as long as I thought it would be - I thought it would be "just under an hour" and it was "just over half an hour" But we had no traffic and I think our towncar driver was doing 80. We also weren't heading to the port, but to the Radisson.

Yep, I think the Radisson would be a little quicker because we noticed that when we returned a rental car to Budget, which is in the same area. To get to the cruise ships, you have to turn off and wind around and whatnot, but the hotel and rental car agencies are right on that big strip (I think it's A1A?).
