Travel Time Estimate From Disney to Universal

I'll be making my first trip to Universal Studios in about 2 weeks. I already have a reservation for Mears to pick us up at our hotel (Pop Century), but I was wondering if anyone could give me an estimate of how long it takes the shuttles to get from the hotel doorstep to the gates of Universal IOA? Do the buses make stops at multiple hotels? I'm asking because I signed us up for a 7:25 am pickup, and I just realized IOA doesn't even open until 9am that day. I personally don't mind getting up or waiting at the gates...but my DH will, and in the interest of heading off any potential grumblings, I thought maybe I could book us a later pickup time if it were feasible to get us there in time to make an early line-up at the HP rides.

It usually takes anywhere from 30-45 minutes by car depending on where you are on Disney property. The shuttles will stop at other hotels depending on how many people are scheduled on that shuttle. I would allow at least an hour to get to Universal from Disney on the shuttle.
