We are driving to the world in September. I would like to rent a car. We won't really need the car while we are there. Is it possible to drive to the airport and drop it off for the week, take Magical express to the resort, then back to the airport to pick up the rental?

I'm sure it's possible, but have you considered checking into dropping off and picking upthe rental off at one of the sites at WDW? That might be the easiest thing to do if the price is right.

The only car rental places we hav are Avis, Hertz, & Enterprise. We are swaying from Enterprise because they don't have unlimited miles outside of VA, DC, MD, & NC. Do you know what car rental places are on site?

Check on mousesavers.com. Under rental cars section. Hertz sounds familiar - don't remember about Avis. But I agree - don't drop it off all the way out at the airport, or if those are your only options, check on Hertz and Avis websites for locations in Orlando.

We're considering a similar plan, but every rental company I've found wants to charge one way at twice the rate. The cheapest way seems to be to rent for the duration and just partk the car. And I asked a cm on the phone about ME, and he said I needed airline info to do that.

This whole thing is becoming a pain in the patoot. I guess we'll just have to take one of our cars and pray that we don't die on the way down there. I don't care so much about the way back. Just want to enjoy my vaca.
