We are flying out on the 24th to Tampa to see my parents for the weekend and then to WDW to our villa at the Wilderness Lodge for the week. Here's my question.

We will have 2 car seats....and 2 strollers (one big one and one umbrella - long story but it works for us). How in the world do you carry all of this stuff plus the boys...through the airport?

Any ideas?

By the way..we can't wait:)

Pay a skycap to help or use those big luggage carts.

In the past we have gotten all our luggage/stuff and stacked it near a door, DH goes to get the car and then pulls up so we can load up.

Good luck;)

You'll need the car seats for the plane? If so, how about getting back pack bags to carry the 2 car seats? Then you can each take a car seat, put a child in each stroller and off you go to the gate! Gate check the strollers when you get ready to board. It's been a few years since we had that type of carrier for the car seat, but you should still be able to get them I'd think.....

If you dont use the car seats on the plane (my son is in a booster), get one of those car seat bags and check it with luggage. It shouldnt count against your allowance, and you can pile stuff up in the extra space (like diapers and wipes, jackets, etc). Then put your boys in the stroller and wheel them to the gate (if your carry ons arent heavy. hang them from the back of the stroller while the boys are in them). If not in a hurry, let them walk a little to burn off some energy (might put them to sleep during the flight). You can then use the strollers to haul your carry ons. You can gate check the strollers as you board, and pick them up when you get off the plane. We do the same thing when we arrive/leave the airport. Hubby goes and deals with the car after unloading myself and our son at the door. I stay with the car and he takes the luggage just inside the door near seats. When we return, he gets the car and I gather the luggage and take it outside to wait for him. My son is able to roll his little suitcase, and hubby takes our carry ons to lighten the load. I just pile the rest of the luggage on our big suitcases and wheel them outside. Thankfully its only a few steps!

Did this by myself with one 18 mo old 2 Christmas's ago......used the umbrella stroller, strapped in the child, hung the diaper bag/carryon over the handles and put the car seat over my shoulder using the normal car seat straps let all the way out.

I'm not saying it was the most comfortable thing I ever did, but as luck would have it, plane landed in the VERY LAST GATE of the Detroit airport and I managed to get us all to baggage claim without any problems.

I have also used one of the straps from a shoulder bag that clips off --- clip it around the back side of the car seat and again sling it over your shoulder and back like a shoulder bag.

Sometimes my husband just likes to carry everything and I push the stroller but I guess that wouldn't work with two strollers!

Good luck!
