Hi there,

I work for CAA and also sell their travel insurance that covers up to 5 million for medical emergencies. You can also look into their Vacation Package Plan that covers medical, baggage, travel accident, and cancellation/interruption.

There are annual plans and family plans that all have great prices, especially if you/your family is under 55 years of age. It is done through Manulife.

Finally someone has something to say about travel insurance. I posted a question way back about who what and wheres of travel insurance with no response.

I was beginning to believe that no one uses it. My sister-in-law said she wasnt going to purchase it.

I think that the reason you didn't get a response is that some of us have out of province health insurance as a work benefit. I have no need to purchase additional insurance. Thank heavens for that because my DH is over 65 and although healthier than I am, the premiums for him would be scary!
