Has anyone purchased the travel insurance offered to DVC? Looks like it's $89 and good for year. Just wondering if anyone has experience with it and what your thoughts are.
Thanks for your input!

Does purchasing travel insurance through DVC also cover the cost of non-refundable flights??

Thank you for the reply. I'm so very sorry for your loss. My condolences to you and your family
Travelex does not cover pre-existing conditions if a family member is in poor/preexisting condition health and something happens it will most likely not be covered.
The cost is 89.00 per UY (the points you are using to travel with if more then one year of points you will need additional policies) airline tickets are covered but it is interesting what Jean just put PP because what if you could not use the travel voucher since most expire, then would you get full value of ticket, since it is non refundable to begin with? Travelex was great answering my questions when I called I would suggest calling them directly. I did get the insurance but got some bad information from DVC rep. once I clarified with Travelex I cancelled. I was getting the insurance because of my FIL who has cancer (has had it for 5 years) but was told it most likely would not be covered if something happened to him. Good luck
