Travel Insurance

Do any of you buy travel insurance. If so where do you get it. I am looking to buy it but not sure where to look and don't want to pay crazy amounts for it if I don't have to. You Disers always help out so I am hoping you can help me now.

I went through a travel agent in my town and I did buy the insurance, it was only like 49 a person or so. i bought it so that if anything happens to my luggage and doesnt show up at the hotel like disney says it will, it will be covered and i wont have to pay for it. if you somehow have to cancell ur trip it will be covered also and youll be covered for injury or emergency medical help or whatever. so for the amount they want its worth it i think but thats just me. If you go through a TA theyll ask you if you wanna purchase it. I dont know about when you go through Disney themselves. But I hope I helped a little bit.

Thank you, I just looked online and asked for a quote and it was 280 for 5 people so I think I will keep looking. I am using a TA so I will see what she says she can get it for.

cool, im sure ur TA will have a better price for you, but i would recommend you get it if you can.

I plan on it. Spending this much money, a couple hundred more for peace of mind is worth it.

yes it is, i have my trip paid off and have insurance and i have no worries, it feels so nice. just wait and leave, but the wait is so long!!!!!

We've used travel insurance for cruises that we've taken. We've had success with Travel Lite.
There is a website called www.insuremytrip.com that can give you quotes on various policies, plus information. We've had some that children under 18 years were included for free.
We usually book it through our TA as well, but the website will give you an idea of cost and plan types. Make sure to check all the fine print for any specifics.
