Travel Insurance question...

Ok, I've booked a Disney package thru them, (hotel-park tickets-dining) blah, blah, blah...But I booked the airfare separately. And will also eventually be adding a rental car for the last 3 days of our 8 day trip.

My question is do I need additional travel insurance for my plane tickets? (the kind they offer thru airline)
I was told at one time by someone (months ago) that the Disney travel insurance that I purchased for the package will also extend to my airline tickets. Is that true?

I know I should call them, but am being half lazy and half impatient right now so I am posting.

For our August trip, I did as you did and didn't buy the insurance on the air that I bought separately. In reading the material that came with the Disney pkg insurance, it specifically says that it covers air that you purchase. I called and spoke with the insurance rep and she confirmed my understanding and even explained how I would make a claim, etc. I was mainly concerned about us getting down there and then having a hurricane mess up our return -- nothing bad happened this year.

Were I you, I would call and get that confirmation noting the name of the person with whom you speak.
