Travel insurance for renting DVC points

Rented DVC points directly from an owner for the first time. Our trip is in August. I'm mostly nervous about hurricane season. Is there a travel insurance company or particular plan you'd recommend? Or will this not be covered since I paid cash directly to owner? Thanks!
