Any suggestions, or words of warning? I'm looking at what our trip to Aulani is going to cost (airfare is crazy from the East cost), and I want to make sure we're covered.

Thanks!

Try insuremytrip.com. The founder is a former neighbor of mine and I can vouch the company is legitimate. It is really a tool that compares many travel companies and you can pick the one you want to use off his site.

I have used it several times and was pleased with it.

Before you buy any travel insurance, check your credit card company and see if they offer coverage. If you use the credit card to book the flight etc., then you can use their travel coverage feature (if they offer it). My company is Capital One and I could not have been happier when they gave me my refund when my son had to come home early. I think American Express has this as well.

That being said, also look into the details.....some insurance can only be claimed if there is a medical emergency, family emergency, etc etc. So check those details before spending any money!! If you just change your mind, it may not be covered.

You may want to look at the airline if you just want to just cover the flight. I buy the insurance Delta offers, I think it is $26.
