Just thought I'd add my positive comments after returning home last weekend.

This is the 4th time we have used TCD- no problems at all, apart from the flights being changed from 10.30am to 2pm- & flew on TCD own planes this time. WE were getting quite concerned this time on the run up to the hols after reading all the negative comments about TCD lately. But no complaints at all- flights on time both ways (even leaving 15 mins early from Sanford) staff v pleasant, food decent with choices, free water & 2 free drinks with meals. Struggled to get 4 seats together this time- never been a problem before, having always had choice. Think we will pre book next time.

Getting thro immigration much quicker than ever before even tho we were expecting huge delays due to finger printing & photos. They have a much better queueing system now. Longer wait at Dollar tho than we have ever experienced.

Stayed in Guest House at Sanford for return flight & certainly made the time pass more quickly, even tho there were more people in than expected because of delayed flights.

Think people do tend to express views when they have something negative to say rather than when everything has gone well. Probably typically British!

WE will certainly check out TCD prices for our next trip.

Did you fly from Manchester ? The 10.30 flight is Air Atlanta & the 2pm flight is TCD's own. Although you say the flight was delayed perhaps techincially they cancelled it ?

I must admit we wern't expecting the world as I have found you get what you pay for, when it comes to air travel.

We decided to fly budget with tcd and have more cash for when we got out there...I hope our flight is as good as yours.

Flight price is a huge issue when booking a USA holiday and people do book with TCD because of their cheaper offers. I would rather save on the cost of a flight & pay more for the accommodation as this is where you do spend more of your holiday. If money was no object, I would be the first in the queue for a Virgin flight, no contest, but unfortunately I am still waiting for my winning lottery ticket!

Looking at the schdules, most of the midday flights appear to be the TCD aircraft. The key is the flight number, if it starts with 5Axxx then it is most likey TCD, otherwise it is more likey to be air atlanta
