Travel Channel Program Alert!

Tuesday, 8/30 at 10:00am et, Travel Channel will be showing an hour-long program called Disney's Great Escapes. The program is a look at the Disney Deluxe resorts in Florida (plus Pop Century ) and California.

Included in the program is a 5-7 minute piece on Saratoga Springs Resort. Consider it mandatory viewing for all DVCers.

I caught this program a few months ago when it aired, and was plesantly surprised in the quality of the SSR info (aside from the gaffe where they are talking about Downtown Disney and show the Main Street train station.) The rest of the show is mediocre. It uses a lot of stock footage from other TTC Disney programs, along with unspectactular voice-over narration.

We have this show recorded on TiVo. I think I even told my DVC guide about the DTD/MK mix-up.

Thanks for the heads up. I haven't seen that one yet. I also noticed that there is another Travel Channel program on Disney the same day at 6:00.

Thanks for the tip. Just asked my tivo to record Great Escapes and the Disney special at 6pm, too.
