Does anyone have any knowledge of which travel agent to use. I have seen quotes from both Dreams unlimited and Magic for less or is it better to do it yourself? What are the pros and cons? I want to make the trip as nice and easy as possible. I also called AAA and the savings was only $53 with the DDP so is it worth it when it cost $65 to join?

No mess no fuss no problems. We booked with disney directly. We have found it's not worth the hassels looking elsewhere.

Can't believe your savings is that small. We book direct to CRO, room only and use AAA discount, usually 10%. If the room runs $200.00 a night, times 10 nights, thats $2000.00 less 10%, thats a $200.00 savings. More than enough for a AAA membership. More expensive the resort, the more the savings. Have never used a TA, been to WDW over 38 times and still book ourselves, direct through CRO, and no problems.

MEI TRAVEL. Two words I will never regret!! Maureen and I have been chatting with eachother for months, she is even on the disboards as princessmo. we talked, waited a few months, booked, then switched to a different hotel in order to add more ppl to our trip. with every email, she responds like it's no big deal, and she is sooo personable. i love that she asks how the girls are doing, and even tried to make me feel better when i was so incredibly sick with the flu. my email from her today let me know that she found a code where i could keep the dining plan (i could have used a 40% off room pkg only, but i want dining plan). with both rooms, she just saved us 1050.00 if you want to use a ta, she is the way to go. i can't do any adr's until june, but I already have the sheets to fill out and email back so she has it all ready to go. good luck and happy planning. ps- the only disadvantage i can see of having a ta is if you let them do your adr's, you might not get the exact time you are looking for. on my spreadsheet, i am asked for an exact requested time, and an acceptable window frame for meals. but, then again, you can always do that yourself too. just let whoever you use that you want to book on your own. I used AAA last time, all I can say is never again. When we got there, they admitted that we were the only family in about a year to book to go to DL, so they don't keep up on as much info as they do WDW. boy, they weren't kidding. thank goodness we went at a slow time of year. we weren't even told about adr's. and this was before i knew about any of these wonderful web sites.

I personally always use Magic For Less Travel....they always take care of me and don't charge me any more than disney does...
