Hello!! Can anyone out there tell me of any good travel agencies you all have used for GREAT Disney Deals? I have used Dreams Unlimited over the past few years but just trying to do some saving if we can on this next trip and did not know if anyone knew of any good deals or good agencies or what you use......THANKS SO MUCH and HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!! :mickeybar

The last couple of trips, I've used Magical Memories Travel and have had good luck. My agent there has always been very thorough in finding discounts for me and making sure I'm aware of all my options. She makes all my PS arrangements for me, including CRT and an Illuminations cruise! :goodvibes They also give a free subscription to TGM if you are booking 5+ nights on site.

Before that I used Magical Journeys but I don't think the agent I used is with them any more. They were good about getting discounts too, I only switched because they don't book PS for you or anything like that. I was happy with them but I got to the point where I wanted to let someone else book the PS for me so I didn't have to wait on hold all that time.

I used Small World Vacations - there's a link from mousesavers.com - and would recommend them again. Stephanie was my agent and she made sure I was aware of discounts and such. I hadn't even thought to check dates against the WDW calendar, so Stephanie saved me a few hundred dollars just by suggesting I show up a day early to catch the cheaper season last year. She also kept an eye out for other savings and was very pleasant to work with.

I will check that one out too!! I have used Dreams Unlimited Travel in the past and they are great...but I don't feel like I get alot of savings so I wanted to see what else is out there.....Thanks.......and have a FUN trip to the world.....ONE MORE DAY-you must be SO excited!!!!!!

I AM!!! :cool1: Now, if I didn't have to get DD7 up at 5am to catch our plane.... LOL

I'm not sure how much savings you'll get over booking yourself if you already know all of the tricks. The value of a Disney-oriented travel agent is often that you get all of the discounts you know about without having to spend hours doing the research yourself. Since they don't charge you for their services, however, the savings in time and stress can be invaluable and if they know about a code or discount you haven't heard about, well, then their service is even more worthwhile. :sunny:

I have used Dreams Unlimited in the past, but have lately been using Dream Come True Vacations - Joe and his team search for the best deals for me, make Priority Seatings (even got us Cindy's breakfast!) - saved us $390 by automatically applying a code for one trip. They respond very quickly to my emails.

All that being said, you asked for "GREAT Disney Deals"... as you may have noticed, all that has been available for this year has mostly been PIN codes, FL resident rates, and AP rates.

For my upcoming trip in June, I started by booking with a AAA rate, but then once I told Joe that we will also be going back in December, we did the math and decided that an AP was the best way to go for this years trips.

I have found that all of the best Disney-specialist agencies ALL know how to get you the best rates - the rest comes down to how happy you are with their customer service.

I guess what I am saying, is that I don't expect you to find any one of these agencies finding you something "GREAT" over the others.

Grammy is right on. Our first tirp in April we didn't know anything and booked everything through Travelocity. No problems. Then we found Magical Journeys for our December trip. Our agent was great. But this time around for our trip in October it just seemed that our agent that we used for Magical Journeys either was bothered by my emails or just didn't care. I am not going to name names, but if an agent sends you an email stating it's alright to give them a call on Friday night and you don't hear back from them all weekend, you start to wonder and then drift.

I was also emailing Magical Memories Travel because I was not getting timely responses from the agent with Magical Journeys. It seemed that at times when I sent an email, not even 5 minutes later I got a response.

Magical Memories is great. Like Grammy said they will book PS for you and you get a free subscription to TGM.

Come on October.....

This is so true, and I don't think many people realize this!! All of these agencies know how to get these special rates!

Believe it or not, many of their agents frequent this site and know all the discounts, codes and secrets to getting a good deal. It's just finding the agency that is willing to go the extra mile to make your family's trip truly magical! :wizard:
