Travel agent tickets and regular tickets

We are going to DW in December for 6 days/7 nights. My husband is a travel agent and he got a 2 day TA pass to Disney World for himself, while DD and myself bought regular 6 day tickets. However, we also redeemed some air miles for him so he could buy a 5 day regular base ticket (from air miles). So combined, he has 7 days. However, his travel agent pass expires whereas I believe the base tickets do not? Since we are going for 6 days, he will have one day left over on his pass. So we need to use the expiring travel agent ones up I think.

We are going in December and we plan to spend
2 days in MK
2 days in Epcot
1 day AK
1 day HS

I am thinking of using the travel agent pass on the AK and HS day since we will not be able to set up fastpass + for them until we physically get to the park.

My question is:
1) do regular base tickets expire
2) would you agree with saving FP+ for Epcot and MK? Princess meets are priority for us.

Yes, the base tickets do expire-14 days after first use.

Thanks! looks like all base tickets expire so it doesn't matter which ones get used. So looks like we will only need to use 1 day where we can't fastpass+. Would you recommend that day to be HS or AK? Here's what we want to do in both parks that seem to have longest waits:

HS: Toy Story Midway Mania
Rock n Roller coaster
Tower of Terror

AK: Expedition Everest
Kilimanjaro Sararis
Meeting Disney Pals

I understand we'll have more time now since AK is extending hours.

If you are planning to do the new Rivers of Light show in AK don't leave AK open.

Also, TSMM and RnRC are both Tier 1 rides. You can only choose 1 for pre-booking.

I would book for both AK and DHS and leave the 2nd day of MK open. As soon as you link the TA pass, book for your 2nd MK day.
