Travel Agent Or Not?

Has a travel agent ever got you a better deal than you can get for yourself?

If so what travel agent did you use?

No, they usually can't get you a better deal and worse, you have no control over your reservation. If you call Disney to discuss something or to change or add something you can't do it. Only the agent can because until you check in the reservation belongs to them.

Kind of. My agent was able to get us the resort we wanted on the discount we wanted when I could not get it myself. I could have stayed at a different moderate for the price, but really wanted French Quarter and could not get it, my agent did.

ok that is kind of what I was finding out myself. Everytime got a price we could get the very same price.

No. I booked thru one b/c I felt bad after asking for 8 million quotes, but ultimately they got the same deal I was finding. Suited me fine, I just wanted to make sure I was getting the best deal possible.
