I have always done my own bookings, Im great and hunting down the deals.
This being said, we are going to DW the first week of Dec with my parents. I have found many of the costs of everything we want. DW, flights, Contemporary, Dlx DP, limos, cruise for Epcot fireworks. Since we are splitting much of it by half, it's easier to do these things.
BUT Do you think I should shop around to travel agencies because of the CAD? We have driven 7 hrs to get a great price in flights (portland maine), but flights out of there with AirTran aren't up until May (6 months out).

Any suggestions? I doubt we will do a dlx resort again, or DP, but this is everybodys dream trip and Im trying to make it the best for everyone on a dime.

just so you know - Disney Specialist agencies book directly with Disney and would show you the exact same pricing right across the board. If you're looking for a deal as opposed to service, you'll have to hit a wholesaler such as expedia.

Welllll not necessarily. We also use Suppliers but myself, I always find Disney pricing beats them. Even factoring in the exchange. My 2 cents..;)

It is true....one of the main reasons for using a Disney Specialist TA is that they provide a great service that you don't get booking online. Also, if you book and a deal comes out, the TA will change your reservation etc. without you having to do a thing....except of course, save money! :goodvibes
