Trash and Towel question

Just thought of something.

Our upcoming trip is a split stay - 4 nights at AKV and then 4 nights at BLT, so first T&T would be the day before we move resorts and the second would be the day before we check out.

I think I recall people saying they've asked for T&T to happen on a different day than 4, but I did a quick forum search and didn't turn up anything.

Is this possible? Is this a MS request or a Mousekeeping request?

think they do it on the 3rd day when you stay 4 days. you can always ask for the second day if you like.

for 3 days or less there is no trash/towel service.

Trash and towel is on day 4 with day 1 being your check in day. You can ask Mousekeeping if they will change the day, you never know.

Lately we feel lucky if they show up even on the correct day. I your case we would take the trash out ourselves and swap towels when and if we see a Mousekeeper in the hallway.

If you have two four night reservations, you'll have a full cleaning before you arrive at your first resort. Trash and towel service on you last full day at your first resort. Then you move to you next resort and you'll have a full cleaning before you arrive. Then you get Trash and towel service again on day four (your last full day at the second resort).

No trash and towel service if you stay three nights of less because day 4 would be your check out day.

But what I was asking was whether they would fulfill a request to do T&T on a day other than Day 4. And if so, would said request be more appropriately made to MS or to Mousekeeping?

Yeah, I saw that afterwards. Make your request to Housekeeping when you arrive. If you are in a one bedroom, you can wash your own towels if you want clean towels every day. Not as easy if you are in a studio. There is a trash room on each floor or each building depending on where you are staying.

OP, call mousekeeping and ask for a different day. If you have time, make a reminder call to mousekeeping on the day that you request. Or catch your mousekeeper in the hall to make sure the message has gotten through. We have changed Trash and Towel day but it sometimes doesn't happen as requested. Good luck!
