Transportion issue

O.K. I know that DW transportation is for guests staying on-site only.... here is my question. I am traveling with 3 other families. I am the only one staying on site.(BWV) We are all going to the MK, and then to O'hanas for dinner. Can they take the monorail from MK to the Poly? I don't ever remember anyone ever asking me for I.D. to use the transportation service. Also if we have ressies for 5:30 at O'hanas and the M.K. closes at 7:00 that night, will they have a hard time getting back to the TCC and getting their cars, and will I have a problem getting back to the BWV if we take the monorail to the TCC after park closing and then taking the monorail to Epcot and walking back to BWV? Any advice is appreciated!!!

Any guest parking in the MK lot has the right to use the monorail to get to the MK, so I can't see how them using it to get to the Poly could be an issue. The transportation runs for a while after the park closes, but I don't know how long, never having stayed at a monorail resort. If you don't get a satisfactory response here, try the transportation board. There are some experts over there.

Yes, you can use the monorail if you are going to a park or eating at a resort. Technically, they can limit bus service from resorts to those staying on site, but they never do. The monorail usually runs about an hour after the park closes, so they shouldn't have any problem getting back to TTC. You should be able to monorail it to Epcot and walk through as long as that park is still open.

They also could walk from the Poly to the TTC. It isn't a long walk.

Technically, the resort monorail is for resort guests only. Practically-speaking, they only impose that when there is a long queue of guests trying to get back to their resort, at the end of the evening. I cannot remember the last time I remember hearing it being imposed -- it may be a matter of years since they've had to do so.

Any guest with a valid Admission pass to a park has unlimited use of any type of Disney Transportation.
