Ok, I'm thinking about making a trip to DL.

Please tell me where the monorail stops and pick ups are at. and do they have a bus system for disneyland resort hotels? thanks a lot!

The monorail has two stops--Tommorowland and DTD (if you are boarding in DTD, you must have valid park admission). There's no bus system--it's not needed because DLR is way smaller than WDW--everything's in walking distance.

DTD=Down Town Disney (collection of shops, restaurants, and entertainment), but much smaller than WDW's DTD.

Take a look at the sticky thread at the top of this board entitled "Maps and Aerial shots of the Disneyland resort" (or something like that), and check out some of the maps and aerials. This should give you a bit of a feel for the area. As iceskatejn said, there is no bus system for the on-site hotels, just the monorail and one's feet. There are also several off-site hotels that are within walking distance. There is a bus system called the ART which serves Disneyland and many of the off-site hotels within a mile or two of DL. ART is run by the city, not Disneyland, and costs $3/day for adults or $12 for a week I think. ART gets mixed reviews.
