For the first time, we experienced some transportation snags in the World. Three times when we were on a Monorail it stopped well short of our destination and did "brake test," "air conditioning adjustment," etc. My brother arrived a day earlier than we did and said one of the Monorails was broken down and it screwed up the whole system. One Monorail ride in particular was very bumpy.
Also, buses seemed to be running very slowly, even at park closings. We rode one bus that sounded like it had asthma and it was obvious that the driver was not happy with his brakes. Hopefully, that bus went right to maintenance after the run.
We had our car and the rest of our group had a rental, and all of us had trouble with the signs. Example, you are following signs to "Epcot Resorts" and, with no other warning, you pass a sign that says "Caribbean Beach Next Left" just yards before the left. Aargh! DH swears the lettering on the WDW signs is getting smaller (of course, we are getting older and that may be part of the problem!).
Our trip was otherwise fantastic, but WDW Transport was definitely having some challenges.
