Transportation within campground?

Is it easy to use the internal buses or would we be better off bringing our bikes? Is there a long wait for the bus? We are coming down from NH next week.

On site transportation was excellent our last trip. Never waited more than 5 to 10 minutes for on site buses.
Of course, there are stops in between but, normally doesn't take too long.
If you want to sight see, bikes are great! For travel to the outposts we opted for the buses.

Internal buses are great, usually a short wait. You can bring the bikes if you would like to loop or travel on your own schedule. You can use your feet to get you there. All in what you want to do. We didn't have bikes with us, but we walked to the Settlement from loop 1400 or grabbed a bus.

We always use the internal bus transportation and seldom have waits - have never used carts or bikes - a personal preference to use them. This past trip we saw several slog to their 'very wet' carts or bikes when it rained, while we were dry on the bus!! Very few carts had rain protection on the sides.
