Transportation when staying Off-site?

Hi,

I am planning my family's first every WDW vacation in DEC 06 with DH, DD8 and DD4. I am curious about transportation inside the resort. I read somewhere that when going to MK it is better to park at TTC and ride the monorail. Is this so? Also what about parking at the other parks? Any tips would be appreciated.

When you visit the Magic Kingdom from offsite (or even if you drive from a Disney resort), parking at the TTC is your ONLY 'option'. Then you need to take the monorail or ferry across Seven Seas Lagoon to get to the park.
To visit the other parks, you drive to the parking lot adjacent to your park of choice and park there.

Lot hopping is free all day (although useless without a hopping park ticket). Hang on to your parking toll booth receipt.
