Transportation - WDW to DCL question

We are on the 4/18/04 4-day cruise. We are in hopes of flying down Friday evening or Saturday into MCO then go to WDW. On sunday we will go to the port. Then after the cruise return to WDW.

Question: Can we take the WDW bus to and from the DCL? If so, do we need to make a reservation? With whom? Is there a fee?..........thanks

You can take the Disney transfers but yes there is a fee. Disney only provides free transportation between their resorts and their parks. YOu will also need to pay for transportation from the airport to Disney World. YOu can get the transfers for all legs of the trip, atleast they told us we could. Depending on how many are in your party, it might be cheaper to do a towncar or rental car (you can do one way rentals). I think the Disney transfers start at $59 per person but are probably more for the 3 leg trips, I think $79 but don't quote me on that.

I would check with Disney. When we did the land & Sea in 2001 I was told the Cruise buses that take you to your land and then sea are only if you book the land and sea. If you only book the cruise and do the land on your own you have to get your own Transportation. I would check with the hotel your are staying at or Disney cruise.

We are traveling in December. We booked the cruise portion over a year ago and the WDW portion over the summer.

We are doing 5 days at WDW then the 7 day cruise. When we booked the cruise our Travel Agent indicated that Disney transportation was only available for the 3/4 or 4/3 land sea packages and were not an option for us.

However when we did book the WDW portion this summer our travel agent was able to get us Disney transportation. So we have transfers from the airport to WDW, WDW to port and then port to airport.

Based on this I believe that in the past Disney did not offer WDW to Port etc. for 7 cruise but they do now
