the Catholic Church in Orlando. Does anyone know of any other transportation besides rental car and taxi to the Catholic Church in Orlando???

That would be the only reason we would need a rental car--to get to church twice, so we'd rather not waste the money.

Thanks for your help!!

Have a magical day!

Mears used to have a shuttle, but IIR they discontinued it about three years ago.

If you can take a WDW bus to DTD and catch a cab from there, it will only be about $6 plus tip each way.

Which catholic church in Orlando do you want to go to? There are about 6 or 7 different ones that I can think of.

I'd give the church a call and ask. I'm sure they have many folks who don't want to miss a mass while on vacation - especially if they're gonna get on an airplane to fly home. :rotfl2:

The Shrine is not a "traditional" Catholic Church. As I understand it, there is no "day to day" congregation, just the tourists. They do not run any type of shuttle to or from WDW.

I think your only options are rental car, car service or taxi.

Depends on where you staying! We were there last Christmas and were able to take the IRide from our hotel, its a 3 min walk from the last stop on the IRide in the Premium Outlets car park.

We're staying at the Swan and Dolphin, but if there's an IRide that picks up Boardwalk or Beach and Yacht Club guests, we could go there.

What resort did it pick you up from??
Maybe we could take a bus or monorail to the select resort, and just catch the IRide from there.....

IRide won't work for you all the way, we were staying on International Drive so it was great!

Only public transport that I know of for you would be the Lynx #50 from TTC and Downtown disney to Seaworld (12mins or so, $1.25 or $1.50) and then onto the IRide Trolley southbound to the premium outlets, fairly drawnout method, maybe you'd be better with taxi from downtown disney!

Sorry I'm not of more help.

I don't know about the OP but you where are BIG help to me. I have been pouring over these Lynx maps trying to figure out how to get to a CiCi's Pizza with out spending $20 in transporation.

#50. I have it printed out and ready now.:thumbsup2
