Transportation to WDW Speedway?

We have reservations for the Richard Petty Driving school at 8AM, and we are supposed to arrive at or before 7:30 AM. What is the best way to get from Ft. Wilderness Campground to the WDW speedway that early in the morning, and approx. how long would it take?

My DH has done the Richard Petty Rookie experience twice and loved it. The speedway is near the TTC so count on the same approx. travel time add about 5 minutes.

The first time he took the early bus from our hotel to the TTC and caught the RPDE shuttle (we were at the Wilderness Lodge). The one problem with this is that many hotels don't have buses to the TTC just the MK and then you need to catch the monorail back to the TTC - very tight for time

The second time he took a cab directly to the speedway - It was Dec 28th, WDW was mobbed and we were at the Beach Club.

He found it less setreesful to take the cab directly - since he was worried about being late

Even if you opt for the cab take their shuttle back to the TCC and catch Disney Transportation back to your hotel or a Park.

don't have buses to the TTC just the MK

Currently due to the Rehab at the MK Bus Station there is bus service from Ft Wilderness and Wilderness Lodge to TTC and there not a bus to MK from Wilderness Lodge because of the Rehab. When at Ft Wildersness the Orange route is the bus that will go all the way to TTC.
