transportation to Universal

We are going to Universal for one day on our trip in December. How much would a taxi cost from CBR? How much is mears shuttle service? Any other suggestions for cheap and easy transportation.

I don't know how much a taxi would cost you...probably around $40 or so...not sure.

Mears was $12 roundtrip per person, from ASMo to Sea World, a couple years ago. I would think Universal would be about the same, maybe a few dollars more.

The towncar companies are around $45 for roundtrip from Disney resorts to Universal.

People have posted about taking public buses, from the TTC, for a couple dollars, but I don't know how easy that is. You may have to change buses, but I don't know.

We are planning on going to Universal from a Disney resort, next year, and I plan on using a towncar service.

Mears Shuttle is $14/person round trip, but not sure how many stops they make each way and how long it takes.

We've booked a van from Happy Limo for $73 including gratuity as they hold 10 people. Tiffany also has a direct van service for $70 plus tip. A towncar, which holds 4 people should be even less. So depending on the number in your group, it is faster and cheaper to book a ride from a towncar/limo service.
