Transportation to Universal

Helllo everyone,

My husband and I are going to Disney for a week for the first time and plan to spend 2 days at Universal. From what I can gather, there aren't any shuttles from the Disney hotels (we're staying at the French Quarter and not renting a car). Has anyone taken a taxi? A towncar is an option, but I would like freedom to come back when we want, and not to be married to a set return time. Are taxis easy to come by at Universal as well?

Taxis are an option. You might also want to check out Mears. They run shuttles between the parks. I think it's about $14 per person round trip from WDW to Universal. Check www.mearstransportation.com
